47V Series

– Polydimethylsiloxane oils and are a major category of silicones sold by Elkem .
They are constituted of linear molecular chains of varying lengths whose groups comprise alternating silicon and oxygen atoms (the Si-O-Si siloxane bond). The silicon atoms are saturated by methyl groups–CH3.
Whilst the carbon chains of organic substances generally have low resistance to external influences, the stability of the Si-O bonds is basically comparable to that of inert mineral silicates.
– Extremely outstanding high and low temperature resistance, good dielectric properties, low surface tension, good oxidation and weather resistance
– Little change in viscosity with temperature, temperature resistance range: -50 ~ 200°C
– Commonly used viscosity range: 50 ~ 1,000,000 cps
– Mainly applied in dielectric fluid (for paper impregnation of capacitors), heat transfer oil (for heating equipments), silicone diluents and plasticizers, lubricating protective agents for textile threads (synthetic sewing threads), and polishing agents , wax polishing agents, floor and furniture polishing agents, paint additives (anti-cratering, anti-floating, etc.), release agents, lubricants (release agent or lubrication for plastic and metal castings)
