LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) is composed of two components, A and B, which are mixed in a 1:1 ratio and injected into molds using specialized injection equipment. It is suitable for applications where traditional rubber cannot be used. Like other rubbers, it can be processed into various shapes, but it offers several key advantages: fast curing speed, low molding temperature, and the ability to bond with composite materials. Additionally, its excellent biocompatibility is one of the key features for widespread use.
Unlike HTV, the performance of LSR is precisely adjusted during the raw material production stage. It offers exceptional high and low temperature resistance, with a wide operating temperature range from -100°C to 350°C. LSR can be categorized into various types based on different properties, including General Purpose, Medium High Tear Strength, Medical Grade, and Special Properties (such as self-adhesive, heat resistant, flame retardant, oil resistant, conductive, and high optical transparent, etc.).
