RTV615

– A transparent liquid that cures into high-strength silicone at room temperature when mixed with a curing agent. These two-component products are provided in matched kits and differ in low-temperature flexibility. All three products are low-viscosity, easily pourable liquids. RTV655 and RTV656 silicone compounds remain flexible at temperatures down to -115°C (-175°F). RTV615, RTV655, and RTV656 silicone compounds are used for potting or encapsulating electronic components and assemblies, protecting them from shock, vibration, moisture, ozone, dust, chemicals, and other environmental hazards. Their optical clarity makes them suitable for potting solar cells for maximum light transmission or in electronic assemblies where component identification is needed.
